Echo-Tide is a dimensional surface pattern that captures the fleeting beauty of water pulling back from shore—where ripples, reflections, and residue converge in a moment of stillness and shimmer. Inspired by tidal retreat and sonic resonance, this design evokes the pulse of ocean energy and the memory it leaves in sand and sound.
Composed of layered linear movements and scattered microtextures, Echo-Tide reveals its true character when light interacts with its surface. The raised structure, measuring 1mm in depth, responds dramatically to metallic paints—especially when paired with a sand compound additive, mimicking the glint of receding water kissed by sunlight on wet sand.

What is Surface Proud?
Surface Proud is a digital printing technology that allows you to print color and texture in a single pass, creating dimensional, embossed wallcoverings and graphics without embossing plates or molds.
What kind of wall coverings can you create with Surface Proud?
You can create custom, textured wall coverings, fine art reproductions, retail graphics, branding elements, hospitality décor, and acoustic panels. Each design can be unique and printed on-demand.
How is the texture created?
Texture is produced by a specially formulated media and a water-based latex ink system. The texture is controlled by a grayscale embossing mask (created in the image file) that activates the expanding layer in the media during the heating process.
What is the maximum embossing height?
The raised texture can reach up to 1 mm, depending on the media type and design.
