Basalt Flow is a raw and elegant wall texture inspired by the quiet force of geological transformation. Echoing the surface of cooled volcanic rock, this pattern embodies resilience and organic formation, with softly directional striations and layered irregularities that resemble wind-brushed stone or aged mineral surfaces. Basalt Flow offers a tactile depth at 1.5mm of raised relief, creating dimensionality that reacts beautifully to directional light and material contrast.
This pattern comes in a design size of 139.8" x 125.9" (355cm x 320cm), but it can be enlarged or tiled seamlessly to fit any wall size. Whether you're covering a single accent wall or wrapping an entire room, Wind-Swept Sandstone scales beautifully to suit your vision.

Choose from two professional-grade Type II paintable wallcoverings:
- Pearl Finish – Adds a low-gloss sheen that highlights striations and elevates contrast.
- Matte Finish – Delivers a grounded, monolithic surface—ideal for moody or industrial palettes.
Each version is crafted to accept paint, stucco, or custom roller techniques, allowing for full personalization. You can also opt for a digitally printed version of Wind-Swept Sandstone, pre-colored and ready to install for a finished look with less prep.

What is Surface Proud?
Surface Proud is a digital printing technology that allows you to print color and texture in a single pass, creating dimensional, embossed wallcoverings and graphics without embossing plates or molds.
What kind of wall coverings can you create with Surface Proud?
You can create custom, textured wall coverings, fine art reproductions, retail graphics, branding elements, hospitality décor, and acoustic panels. Each design can be unique and printed on-demand.
How is the texture created?
Texture is produced by a specially formulated media and a water-based latex ink system. The texture is controlled by a grayscale embossing mask (created in the image file) that activates the expanding layer in the media during the heating process.
What is the maximum embossing height?
The raised texture can reach up to 1 mm, depending on the media type and design.
